Guest Policies

Reservation and Payment Policy

Booking Confirmation: Reservations will be confirmed only upon receiving an advance payment of at least 30% of the total stay cost.


Rate Policy

  • All room rates include GST on the published tariff and are subject to change as per government policies.
  • Special rates may be offered at the discretion of Tarapith Tapabon Eco Resort management.
    Mode of Payment: Payments are accepted via Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, net banking, and Cash.

Arrival & Departure Policy

  • Check-in: 11:00 AM
  • Check-out: 10:00 AM
  • Early check-in is subject to availability. To guarantee an early check-in, the room must be reserved from the previous night.
  • Rooms are reserved until 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. If arrival is not confirmed by 4:00 PM via phone or email, the reservation will be automatically cancelled, and the advance payment will be retained without refunds.

Booking Extension Policy

  • Extensions are subject to availability and charged at current room rates on the specific date.
  • Extension rates may differ from the original booking rate.

Cancellation Policy

  • Refunds depend on timing relative to the booking date:
    • Up to 7 days before check-in: 100% refund.
    • 3-6 days before check-in: 50% refund.
    • Less than 3 days before check-in: No refund (cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s retention charge).
    • No-shows: Full retention charge for one night.
  • Peak Periods and Events: Bookings made during these times are non-refundable and incur full retention charges if cancelled.

Refunds for Chargebacks

Refunds will be processed via the payment gateway or another appropriate method deemed by the resort.


Extra Guest Policy

Charges for additional guests are determined by resort management.


Child Policy

  • Infants (0-6 years): No charge, sharing parents’ bed.
  • Children (6-11 years):
    • 50% of extra person cost, sharing parents’ bed.
    • 100% extra person charge for accommodation with an extra bed.
  • Children (12 years and above): Considered adults and charged the full adult rate.
  • Supervision: Children under 12 must always be supervised by a parent/guardian.
  • Amenities: Children may use resort facilities under adult supervision; some facilities may have age restrictions.

Photo Identity

All guests (including children) must present valid government-approved photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driver’s License for Indian nationals; valid passport and visa for foreign nationals).


Pet Policy

  • Pet-Friendly: Pets are welcome for a nominal fee.
  • Responsibility: Owners are liable for their pets’ behaviour and any damages caused.
  • A cleaning fee applies for guests with pets.

Noise and Conduct Policy

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
  • Guests must respect others and avoid loud noises during quiet hours.
  • The resort reserves the right to evict guests for inappropriate conduct or illegal activities.

Smoking and Alcohol Policy

  • Smoking: Permitted only in designated outdoor areas; prohibited in rooms and common areas. Cleaning fees apply for violations.
  • Alcohol: Guests may bring and consume alcohol responsibly. Disorderly behaviour will result in eviction without refunds.

Damage and Liability Policy

  • Damages: Guests are liable for any damage to resort property caused by them or their party.
  • Liability: The resort is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.

Housekeeping Policy

  • Daily Cleaning: Provided daily; specific times can be requested or opted out of.
  • Linen/Towels: Changed every two days; fresh towels available upon request.

Internet and Wi-Fi Usage Policy

  • Access: Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in all rooms and public areas.
  • Fair Usage: Excessive bandwidth usage may be restricted to ensure quality for all guests.

Food and Beverage Policy

  • Outside Food: Discouraged; an on-site selection of food and drinks is available.
  • Special Dietary Requests: Can be accommodated with advance notice.

Health and Safety Policy

  • Medical Assistance: First-aid kits are available; emergency transport to medical facilities can be arranged.
  • Fire Safety: Guests must follow fire safety procedures and evacuation routes.

Transportation and Parking Policy

  • Parking: Free parking is available; the resort is not liable for vehicle loss or damage.
  • Transportation Services: Local transport and sightseeing tours can be arranged for a fee.

Environmental Policy

The resort encourages eco-friendly practices, including water conservation, waste reduction, and energy-saving initiatives. Guests are requested to switch off lights and AC when not in use.


Limitation of Liability

The resort is not liable for inaccuracies, delays, or omissions in provided data and services. Under no circumstances shall the resort’s liability exceed the value of payment received.
